and the participants (AKA – ARISTS)

INITIATIVE PROGRAM

THE HOUSE BAND (AKA) THE HIRED GUNS WILL RECEIVE $1.700.00 FOR THEIR HOSTING

Each ARTIST is GRANTED a value of $3,000.00 in production credits to ensure there is no financial burden to the ARTIST. This includes studio fees, engineer fees, consultant fees, marketing fees, food and beverage, accommodation, and inclusion in the final LP.

EACH ARTIST FROM THE STUDIO RECORDING SESSIONS RECIEVES $1,000.00. 50% to be paid to the Band Leader upon the submission of this agreement and to be paid in full one business day following the event.

FILM PROJECT OUTLINE

This agreement may only be used for production in Canada for the compilation of The QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION musician sponsor program initiative and Documentary Film to be entered into the Kingston Canadian Film Festivals or other related screenings for the purpose of promoting equally both the Artists and The QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION and the studio production and on-stage presentation of local artists.

PART ONE

THE PROJECT INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING

A FREE 10 hour recording session at Bathouse or mutually agreed upon studio. Overnight accommodation at Bathouse Studio. Engineer provided Mixing Consultant Music video production Live stage Video recording session Inclusion in the Documentary of the project Placed on www.cjai.ca 101.3 FM radio Placed on www.radiofreestella.ca Placed on the FREE www.qrtheband.ca musicians listing There music video as part of the Kingston Canadian Film Festival. Media coverage through Social Media. On the QR THE BAND Youtube channel. Inclusion in the FUNDRAISING LP with Royalties.

PART TWO

JANUARY – MARCH 2022

LP PROJECT OUTLINE

If the recordings meet the technical requirements and mutual agreement, QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION plans to produce an LP of the studio recordings and of the live concert and sell it on-line to raise funds for the Association and future Give Me A Break Albums. Royalties will be offered for each individual musician involved in the project whether being members of any unionized entity.

ROYALTIES

This Royalty will also include any revenues after expenses from any funds rewarded at any festivals or theatre earnings at an agreed upon 30% Fund Pool, to be equally shared by the ARTIST group as a whole.

Followed by a 30% percentage of the gate by the group as a whole from the December 15th Concert after expenses. This is a Non-Profit Initiative to support local music production.

COPYRIGHT

All singer song writers have complete copyright on their material and their videos, and they are provided with the Master from the studio and have complete control. Any use of their material on the final LP, videos and social media, will not be used without their permission.

QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOICIATION reserves the right to use the ARTISTS material to promote ARTIST on the QR THE BAND FREE musician’s directory, aired on 101.3 FM and www.radiofreestella.com FREE platforms with the ARTIST’S permission.

MUSICIAN’S UNION RECOGNITION

The QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION is in no way acting as a UNION and hereby recognizes the AFM as the exclusive bargaining representative for musicians that are members of the AFM that are financially compensated by the QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION or any contracted production company.

USE OF PRODUCT

The QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION may not use recordings produced pursuant to this agreement by any members of the AFM (or sell, lease, or assign to any other party the right to use recordings produced under this Agreement) for any purpose not expressly set forth in this Agreement (such as, e.g., television or motion picture soundtracks, commercial announcements, videogames, or displacement of musicians in rehearsal or performance) without the express written consent from the ARTIST.

For purpose outside of this Agreement, the QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION will pay, to all musicians who rendered services, the amounts required under the appropriate agreed upon rate by both the Musician and QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION Agreement which is in line with or exceeds the existing Industry Guidelines.

Each musician will also receive a minimum of 4 FREE tickets for the December 15th Show as well as food and beverages.

Each artist will be given a deadline to request FREE tickets for friends and peers interested in the local music scene.

QR THE BAND MUSIC ASSOCIATION grants FREE admission to any volunteers of who register as volunteers for the December 15th event.

The December 15th Variety Show Style Concert and awards show will be video recorded, audio recorded and streamed live on VIMEO which can be shared on Facebook.

The December 15th Variety Show Style Concert and awards show will be aired LIVE on www.jcai.ca 101.3 FM and all songs will be submitted to SOCAN under the ARTISTS identity.
